The Historic Basilica

The Historic Basilica The first chapel of Our Lady of Aparecida was built in 1745. In 1888, after renovations, it was replaced by the current Historic Basilica, which housed the original image of Our Lady until 1982, when it was definitively transferred to its new Sanctuary.
