The entrance to the Bijenkorf parking garage is located on the square. To replace the above-ground bicycle parking facility, an underground parking facility was built in 2018 for 1,700 bicycles. Cost of the project approximately ten million euros. After construction, the square was redecorated with new trees and paving based on the old design of 1903. The fountains and the monumental lamp posts were restored to their original state.
